Additionally, SENDD won awards as Croatia’s most innovative healthcare software, and Vineyard Angel formed a partnership with one of Croatia’s top winemakers.

Mentorship Matters: Empowering the Next Generation

Mentorship remains a key part of TIS GRUPA’s success. Our Java experts led a successful Java/Spring Academy, where they taught programming skills to many participants. Moreover, we excelled in a competition for young IT professionals, with two teams reaching the grand finale. As a result, Domagoj won a silver medal.

Iločki Podrumi d.d., one of Croatia’s largest and most successful wineries, was among the first in the world to recognize the immense potential of artificial intelligence in viticulture. We are especially proud that the product they use is Vineyard Angel, an AI platform we developed in collaboration with Alti Agro.

On this occasion, Vedrana Barišić, Head of Viticulture at Iločki Podrumi, shared her thoughts:

• Viticultural tradition in Ilok has been nurtured for over two thousand years, and our wines have been a globally recognized symbol of quality since the 18th century. To ensure this remains the case in the future, it is essential to keep up with the times.
• Considering the increasing challenges we face in the field—whether it’s the impact of climate change and all that comes with it or the need for more efficient resource management—maintaining the premium quality of our products, which our consumers have come to expect, will increasingly depend not only on local conditions, the expertise of our staff, or the passion we bring to our work but also on smarter use of technology.
• As a leader in innovation on the domestic wine market, we decided to take this step and collaborate with Alti Agro. Their Vineyard Angel helps us monitor our vineyards on the rolling plateaus of Fruška Gora.
• Regarding the functionalities this AI solution offers, we particularly highlight its ability to automatically count and locate missing vines as well as perform qualitative zoning of vineyards. Automatic vine tracking significantly speeds up work throughout the year, while the vineyard zoning service saves precious time during harvest seasons.

The quality of this product is also confirmed by Antonijo Kraljević, Chairman of the Board at Iločki Podrumi:

• We plan to continue using Vineyard Angel in the future to analyze the state of viticulture more effectively and to optimally plan and organize vineyard processes. With this technology, we have centralized data that allows us to make more precise forecasts in production and sales, simplifying business decision-making and predicting operational challenges.

Rolling up our sleeves after weeks of close collaboration with colleagues from Polyclinic Sabol, we orchestrated our debut on Monday at ZICER.

Let’s be honest. Any event targeting a highly specialized audience comes with justified fears: Will people show up? How much will we embarrass ourselves? IT conferences are notoriously prone to technical issues. What if a stray comet reads its horoscope and, influenced by Mercury in retrograde, crashes into our small blue planet on that very day?

None of that happened. Instead, we witnessed a textbook example of a well-organized, well-received event with an incredible turnout.

An innovation shaping the future of pediatrics attracted precisely the people we hoped for: pediatricians, neuro-pediatricians, neonatologists, pediatric physiatrists, pediatric physiotherapists, visiting nurses, and other related professionals involved in neonatal neurological care. Over 60 attendees!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made the trip to the Zagreb Fairgrounds on Monday for SENDD. From the safety of the venue, we watched people climb over walls just to hear the latest insights at the intersection of AI and pediatrics.

Dr. Krakar took the stage first, thoroughly presenting SENDD and its significance from a neuro-pediatrics perspective. The baton then passed to our very own Strgar, who didn’t disappoint. In fact, he unveiled exclusive details even our most loyal followers hadn’t heard before. Years of evangelizing about SENDD gave both speakers the confidence to masterfully deliver content while maintaining the audience’s attention. They even managed to avoid crossing into cringe territory with their anecdotes and jokes. Hats off, gentlemen—you nailed it!

The central part of the event was orchestrated by Josip Kustić, who navigated the panel discussion with skill. As moderator, he insightfully opened doors and closed windows, encouraging our esteemed guests to share the most practical aspects of their expertise with the audience. Given that no one picked their nose, only two people sneakily checked their phones, and the security guard only glanced at his watch near closing time, we’re confident Josip will excel in future field tasks as well.

Your feed has been full of our AI products lately (we’ll allow ourselves to say deservedly), but our core business is still related to the financial industry. Well, it’s time to put this part of our solutions in the shop window again. One, dare we say more ingenious, is SEPA CREATOR – a tool for creating test files for SEPA functionalities.

Why ingenious? If you are (un)lucky enough to prepare for the new SEPA rulebook changes, then you are drowning in work. That is, more than usual.

“The tool has been used for years in domestic banks to facilitate the testing of all major regulatory changes in the field of payments. More recent examples are the introduction of the euro, the introduction of European payment instruments, or any other major change such as this year’s changes to the SEPA rulebook”, explains Vjekoslav Martinčić, our vice president with considerable experience in the financial industry.

It is important to note that this product is not exclusively for the Croatian market. SEPA CRATOR is a product that could make the job easier for any QA tester in the SEPA area. “The largest Croatian banks are current users of the app, and we expect that this tool will become recognized by other banks in the country and abroad in the coming period,” adds Vjeko.

 Why SEPA CREATOR?

Quite plastically, from three lines of data, with the new changes to the SEPA rulebook, we are now moving to 16 lines of data. This change will go to production by the end of November. It is introduced by all banks in the SEPA area, including national ones. Now you do the math. How much time do you have, and do you have enough people to test everything to the deadline?

  Seriously, calculate how much it would cost to create 10,000 messages manually, knowing that there is a tool executing the job flawlessly in only a few seconds.
